Not sure if your neighbors are giving out candy can be a challenge since typically we know who is a treater and who isn’t by the porch lights, however being in an apartment can be challenging because the porch lights are always on. Contact your leasing office and see if they have a community board you can post a suggestion on,  suggest if you want to be included in trick or treating put out a pumpkin or some sort of Halloween decoration, if you don’t have those things then put a note on the door saying trick or treaters welcome or sit out side with your bowl of candy. We have several complexes and it just depends on the amount of small children we have each season if we will even see any little ghosts or goblins, but we always want Halloween to be fun for everyone.
